How to Use Bergamot & Balance Essential Oil

B is for…⁣

Bergamot Essential Oil. The most delicate of the citrus plants, Bergamot requires special climate and soil in order to thrive. We source this oil from Reggio di Calabria in Italy (where my family comes from!) where the Italians have used it for years to reduce feelings of stress and to soothe and rejuvenate skin. Emotionally, it is the Oil of Self Acceptance and helps to relieve feelings of despair, self-judgment and low self-esteem. It’s known for its ability to promote cheerfulness, feelings of freshness and increased energy.⁣

Bergamot oil has unique calming capabilities that can help when tension or stress levels are high. Diffusing this oil can help promote a sense of self confidence when you feel frazzled and tense or a sense of inner peace when stress is running high. Equal parts Balance and Bergamot is one of my absolute favourite blends!⁣

☕️ TEA ☕️ ⁣

Using the toothpick method (insert into top of bottle and then swizzle through warm tea of your choice) for instant Earl Grey. ⁣

– 10 drops Bergamot⁣

– 10 drops Wild Orange⁣

– 5 drops Frankincense⁣

– water to top up⁣

Combine water and essential oil in 30ml spritz bottle. Shake before each use. ⁣

The warm, woody aroma of Balance creates a sense of calm and well-being and promotes tranquility and relaxation. TIP: This blend already has been diluted with a carrier oil, so can use straight on skin. ⁣

On an emotional level it is The Oil of Grounding. Providing inner strength and fortitude, Grounding Blend teaches individuals to ground their energy and to manifest their vision with the patience of a tree.⁣

💚 Begin your day by putting 1-2 drops on the arches of your feet to begin your day grounded and calm. ⁣

💚 This emotionally balancing blend is a great oil to use during meditation or yoga practices. ⁣

💚 Apply to your wrists or neck to help ease anxious feelings.⁣

💚 Diffuse to create a calming, soothing environment. Try blending with Lavender or Easy Air for a restorative night’s sleep⁣

💚 Promote whole body relaxation with a Balance bath. Simply add a few drops to ½ cup of Epsom salts
