Dr Libby Quinn is the founder and Principal Clinical Psychologist of The Women’s Psychology Clinic in Northern NSW. Her passion lies in working with and nurturing women, often mothers, with the most up to date and evidence-based therapy that is specifically tailored to their needs. This episode is all about overcoming overwhelm and fatigue as a new mama and why in order for children to thrive and develop we need to prioritise the psychological and emotional wellbeing of the mother. Dr Libby also talks about why identifying your unique values is key in dodging the ever present comparison trap and some things we we can do to reconnect with our partners and why spending time apart is so important. So many great nuggets of wisdom in this interview, I hope you enjoy it as much as I did!
